Unblock the wells

To "unblock spiritual wells" is an expression in some circles of the body of Christ today. There is a book on the subject written by Lou Engel: Digging the wells of revival. It is about believing that where there was once a spititual revival or activity in history, there are still spiritual wells today: in the sense that it's like a  spiritual source that is now asleep, but has the potential to come alive. In many cases, these wells are blocked today, but we believe that they can be unblocked by prayer directed by the Lord.
The story of Jesus with the samaritarian woman in John 4 is a good example. Jesus stop at the Jacobs well (where Abraham and Isac had been taking water). In vers 35, Jesus says that the harvest is ripe. Spiritually we are able to understand this thanks to the (spiritual) activity that Abraham, Isac and Jacob had accoplished in the area and therefore the harvest was ripe.
We are concerned by 3 wells like that. These are the wells of the prophetic, intercession and worship.

The prophetic: Knowing the history of the Cevennes and the prophetic movement that has marked the area, it is clear that there is a prophetic heritage to be restored for us.

Intercession: The prayermeeting that has lasted the longest in history to our knowledge was in a small village in Germany, called Herrnhut (which translated means "the hut of the Lord" in english). The prayermeeting started in 1727 and it continued non-stop for more than 100 years, 24hours/day and 7 days/week. Many believe that it's the source for modern mission.Today there are many places in the world where the Lord is putting on the hearts of his children to pray 24/7, e.g.. in a center in Kansas (IHOP
http://ihop-intl.org) and like the "Boilerooms" with prayer meetings in many places in Europe. We believe in the importance of a spirit of prayer and supplication for God's Kingdom to be established. Because God has said: "My house shall be a house of prayer for all nations". (Marc 11:17)

Worship: When David was king in Israel, he had established non-stop worship. He had 24 000 people to minister in the house of the Lord(1 Chr 23:4) where 4 000 of those were worshipping. It's written in Amos 9 that God will restore the tabernacle of David in the end of times. So there will be a continueous worship. That's why today in many places in the world, God is raising up a worship 24/7. One exemple of this vision in France is "France on fire".
